Appointments

All of our consultations with a healthcare professional are by appointment only.

Appointments can be booked by our reception team by telephone on 0161 804 9899.

The reception staff will endeavour to give you a convenient and appropriate appointment with the doctor or nurse of your choice. If, however, they are unable to do so, they will suggest an alternative time or another doctor/nurse who is available.

As a registered patient at this practice, you are free to consult with any of our doctors or practice nurses.

We constantly review our appointment system to reflect our patients’ needs.

Phone calls to the surgery during the peak time of 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. are restricted to only those patients requesting urgent “Same Day Triage” appointments.

Urgent appointments

If you request a same day appointment, you will be put on the triage list. The receptionist will take your details and a contact number. One of our clinicians will ring you back that morning to discuss your problem and if you need to see a GP, you will be booked in to an appointment for the same day.

When filling your details in, the receptionist will ask for a brief description of your current symptoms. They will ask for this information to give the clinician as much information as possible before they call you back.
